Lake Tye Park is a 64 acre community park that hosts many spectacular community events throughout the year.  Located along Fryelands Blvd at the west end of the City, it boasts a 42 acre recreational lake that is enjoyed by a diverse range of water enthusiasts.  It includes a non-guarded beach and pedestrian boat launch, 2 large covered picnic shelters that can be reserved for parties, restrooms, concession building, tennis and basketball courts, softball field/baseball field, full-sized soccer field, children’s play area and parking for approximately 200 vehicles.  Walkers, runners and bicyclists regularly enjoy spectacular views along the 1.5 mile loop trail around Lake Tye that is also linked to other community trail segments.  

The park is also home to the Monroe Board and Blade Skate Park, which will undergo a complete renovation and upgrade this year.
