Monroe River Valley Farm

Just outside of Historic Downtown Monroe on Highway 203 sits the Monroe River Valley Farm.  Located on seven acres of manicured grounds and surrounded by lush green trees, the Monroe River Valley Farm features unique indoor and outdoor event space.  Owners Paula Peak and Jim Lorkowski, re-purposed the historic Monroe Slaughter House located on the farm property in 2010, turning the  industrial space into a unique and versatile venue for events and shopping year round.

Paula’s Wine Knot Beer and Wine Tasting Bar

Inside the former slaughter house at the River Valley Farm, guests discover 5,500 square feet of re-purposed industrial space featuring an intimate tasting area called Paula’s Wine Knot Beer and Wine Bar.  The area also includes a retail area featuring Paula’s Pepper Jellies, sauces and gourmet foods.

Paula and Jim welcome the public to their beer and wine bar Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2 pm till 8 pm and Sundays from 2 pm till 6 pm.

The soothing space is a relaxing gathering spot for local professionals to unwind, take in the work of local artists and enjoy an unprecedented selection of boutique wines, craft beers and gourmet foods.

The Slaughter House Lounge

Adjoining the beer and wine bar is an impressive live performance space where live music and private events are held most weekends.  The public is welcome to reserve table space and purchase tickets to attend these events and shows.   The Slaughterhouse Lounge rivals music venues found in Seattle with cutting edge acoustics, big name performers and a swanky industrial vibe.

Hours and event schedules vary, please call Paula or Jim for information on current schedules and to purchase event tickets.
