The Region 5 Championship Show is offering the “Total Arabian Interaction and Learning” (T.A.I.L) program for horse lovers of all ages to learn more about Arabian horses.

The T.A.I.L program gives adults and children of all ages a unique opportunity to learn more about the Arabian breed from educated volunteers. This is your chance to get up close with an Arabian horse! The tour aims to introduce people to the wonderful breed that is the Arabian while also guiding you though a real horse show experience.

You will begin by meeting your knowledgeable guide who will educate and lead you throughout the tour. Next, you will have the chance to watch the horse show, experience “behind the scenes” festivities at some of the Regions top show barns, and even have the chance to meet, pet, and groom an actual Arabian show horse!
Every participant will receive a souvenir bag, complete with horse related goodies and educational materials you can take home with you.

All ages are welcome to participate in this event. It is a perfect opportunity for 4-H & FFA groups, Girl and Boy Scouts, families, youth groups, or any individuals who would like to learn more and experience the Arabian horse.
T.A.I.L tours are absolutely free. After the conclusion of your tour, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the Championship Show. In addition to watching the horse show itself, you have the opportunity to explore the barns and shop with our vendors. There is even a concession stand that serves up delicious food all day long.

Tours will begin at noon, July 12 through July 14, 2018 at the Equestrian Park located at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds (14405 179th AVE SE, Monroe, WA). You can find the T.A.I.L tour station at the Equestrian Park Entrance adjacent to the information booth. Free parking is available.

Arabian Horses are known for their athleticism, strength and diversity and will showcase these abilities at the Regional event. From Trail, Reining, Western to English, Halter and Native Costume plus much more, we invite residents of Monroe and surrounding areas to come out and see these great athletes in action. Horse show class sessions begin respectively at 8 a.m., 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. We hope to see you there!
